Midwest Konferance was started in early 2004 by Money Calvino & Eyekahn. Both Money & Eyekhan pull double-duty as emcee/producers
which makes Midwest Konferance as a group truly unique. Most artists are good at one or the other, but rarely do you have
two artists from two different ethnic backgrounds in the same group that can handle mic duties and production duties equally
proficient. Each member is talented in their own right and can truly stand alone as solo artist but together they are unstoppable.
This group is a good look into the Chicago way of life and Midwest culture. The members of Midwest Konferance have previously
performed at Subterranean, Congress Theatre, The Note, Exedus II, Batey Urbano, U.S. Beer Company, The Nightcap, The Wild
Hare, Big Wig, Mi Casas & Sluggers.
Midwest Konferance is currently gaining regional buzz with their promo release - Midwest Konferance Presents “Underground
Radio Vol. 1”, which is a collection of previously recorded M.K. material from mixtapes and other projects. M.K. has
releases slated for 4th quarter 2005; M.K. presents “Underground Radio Vol 2: Da Metal Fingers Version”, “Zac-D
the Eyekahn”, Midwest Konferance - “M.ade I.n C.hicago”, Money Calvin - “Live From Chicago Vol. 3”.
Midwest Konferance has three tiers; Tier 1: Midwest Konferance the group Money & Eyekahn, Tier 2: M.K. Ent, which houses our
studios, graphic artists, deejays, promotions and production, Tier 3: Minority Kidz Radio, the artists that we work with and
intend to continue to support. When it comes to original production, mixtapes, live shows and full-length albums Midwest
Konferance is set to become the first Midwest regional success story. So, either come along for the ride or sit on the sidelines
hating, but their Midwestern reign is unstoppable.
